From writing notes of encouragement for children in need to repairing community trails and supporting local nonprofits, I&M employees made a real difference during AEP's Week of Service.

Across Indiana and Michigan, employees dedicated their time, talents and energy to projects that strengthened the communities we serve. Volunteers supported organizations focused on youth development, veterans and military families, affordable housing, education, outdoor recreation and community assistance.

Employees shared career insights with local fathers and young men through Present Pillars in Benton Harbor, visited campers at Hannah & Friends in South Bend, assisted with trail improvement projects along the Cardinal Greenway in Marion and participated in community-focused initiatives with organizations including Junior Achievement and Five Star Life.

Others took part in simple but meaningful acts of service, such as writing notes of encouragement for children receiving beds through Mustard Seed, reminding us that even small gestures can have a lasting impact.
