A payment arrangement can help spread payments over a few months while paying your full balance. Customers should log into their I&M account to check eligibility. Also available is a one-time extensión del pago, which provides a few extra days for one payment.
En Pago Mensual Promedio (AMP) plan allows customers to spread out their energy costs over the entire year so payments are about the same amount each month. This is determined by averaging the last 12 months of bills to create an average monthly payment, which may change slightly each month based upon use.

I&M supports payment assistance options offered by designated state-specific programs in Indiana y Michigan. Customers can learn more about local and federal organizations offering payment assistance by calling 211 or visiting 211.org.
Senior Citizen Discount Rate
En Descuento para Ciudadanos de la Tercera Edad is designed for Michigan customers, age 65 or older who use less than 900 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy a month. This option provides a 50% discount on your monthly service charge, plus a reduced rate on energy use under 900 kWh.

For immediate savings, I&M will send homeowners a free kit of energy-saving products upon survey completion. During this checkup, homeowners will walk through their home with an I&M energy expert to identify any existing concerns. They can also receive a free kit with energy-saving products.
