Se Completó un Arreglo Navideño Popular Gracias al Equipo de I&M

11 de Noviembre de 2024

An elaborate holiday display takes time, extra hands and potentially a bucket truck - or two. Luckily, the volunteers tasked with preparing the drive-thru light displays at Muncie's Suzanne Greshman Center had help from a qualified I&M team.

In addition to the AEP Foundation serving as the presenting sponsor for the December event, a team of 25-plus I&M and AEP transmission volunteers helped to set up the displays at the end of October. With just one day to accomplish weeks' worth of work, the team was busy decorating Santa's House, hanging garland and stringing lights - with help from the 150' transmission bucket truck.

The Suzanne Gresham Center, a division of Meridian Health Services, helps some of the most vulnerable, including pregnant mothers struggling with addiction and victims of child abuse. The "Holidays at Gresham" is one way the organization gives back and spreads cheer to the community.

Aligning with Meridian Health Service’s philosophy stating, “it’s been said that you cannot light another’s path without brightening your own,” the popular holiday attraction, which features over one million lights, will be open to the community the first weekend in December, free of charge.
