Jennifer Ellis, vice president Distribution Region Operations, leads I&M’s distribution organization, including operations, vegetation management, grid modernization, construction and maintenance for I&M facilities.

Jennifer previously served as vice president, Distribution Planning and Performance for American Electric Power where she was responsible for bringing centralized Distribution standards and planning functions closer to the work of the operating companies.

She also was vice president, Distribution Operations for the PSO where she was responsible for the operation and maintenance of the electric distribution system for approximately 568,000 customers throughout Oklahoma.

Prior to that, Ellis served as PSO’s director of Reliability and Grid Modernization and functioned as PSO’s Storm Coordinator.

Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1995 and completed the AEP Leadership program at Ohio State University in 2008.
