After a destructive tornado and severe weather caused extensive damage in the Three Rivers, Mich. area last Friday, the community is rebuilding. To prevent further hardship while our customers recover, Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is suspending service disconnections in the area.

"Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the storm in the community. We were committed to restoring power safely and quickly and now we will stand with our customers and employees in that community to assist with power needs as they rebuild," said Katie Runkle, I&M's vice president of external affairs and customer experience.
I&M will suspend disconnects through March 31. On April 1, we will evaluate and determine next steps.
